This article is the first part of a series of articles explaining how to use Form Publisher. You will learn how to open and to add questions to your Google Form.
If you created an entirely new Google Form, then you will have to add questions before using Form Publisher.
1. Open a Google Form
Method 1: Create / Open a Google Form from your Gmail account
You can either click on the Google Form icon from your Google account or access directly to your Google Form from the button below:
Finally, you can choose to create a blank Form or select an existing Form.
Method 2: Create / Open a Google Form from your Google Drive
You can either click on the Google Drive icon from your Google account or access directly to your Google Drive from the button below:
Once you are on your Google Drive, click New.
Finally, click More > Google Forms. You can either create a blank Form or choose a form from an existing template.
2. Add different questions to your Google Form
By default, the first question of a new Google Form will be an Untitled question and a Multiple choice type. Click on Multiple choice.
Then, a dropdown menu appears.
Choose the type you want and rename your question depending on your use case.
You can then add questions to your form by clicking on the + button on the sidebar.
3. Configure the questions on your Google Form (optional)
You can also personalize your form by creating different conditions under each question. Click the three dots button under your question. Then, click Response validation.
A custom line appears under your question.
In our example, we decided that if the submitter doesn't write a valid email address, he will see an error message and won't be able to submit the form as long as he has not written a valid email address.
