After each submission, you can collect the respondents' email addresses with Google Forms.
Collect respondent-provided emails
Procedure
- In the Google form, click the Settings tab.
- Expand the Responses section.
- For Collect email addresses, open the dropdown and select Responder input.
Google Forms automatically saves your configuration settings.
Result
In the Questions tab, a required Email question and a message appear at the top of your form. Each time the form is submitted, Google Forms collects the email address provided by the form submitter.
Collect verified emails
Procedure
- In the Google form, click the Settings tab.
- Expand the Responses section.
- For Collect email addresses, open the dropdown and select Verified.
Google Forms automatically saves your configuration settings.
Result
In the Questions tab, a message appears at the top of your form confirming that this form is automatically collecting emails from all respondents.
Respondents must confirm their Google Account email address gets collected with their response. The confirmation displays on each page of the form.
