Form Publisher supports markers which can show the date, the time, or the date and time of an event, such as when people make a form submission. You can configure how the date and time are displayed in the generated documents by expanding the Standard markers and the Questions markers sections in the Template page of Form Publisher.
Prerequisites
Your Google document template must contain a marker that matches a Date or a Time question or it contains the <<Timestamp>> standard marker which provides the date and time of the form submission.
In our example, we show how to configure the format of the question Date which is part of the Google form.
Procedure
- Open Form Publisher and select your template.
- Click Question markers.
Under the Date question, the following format is selected: MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss. - Select one of the following formats:
- dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss
- MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss
- yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm:ss
- dd/MM/YYYY
You can also type the format you need. To do so, you can use the supported formats listed in the table below. The correct letter case of the format is important. For example, HH:mm results in 24-hour time, and hh:mm results in 12-hour time.
