With Form Publisher, you can allow the approvers of generated documents to request more information before they can accept or reject the document.
About this task
To allow approvers to send requests to respondents for more information, you must configure your Google form to collect the email addresses and to allow respondents to edit their responses.
Procedure
- In the Google form, click the Settings tab.
- Expand the Responses section.
- Under the Responses section, enable Collect email addresses.
- Under the Responses section, enable Allow response editing.
Result
Your Google form is now configured to allow the approvers of generated documents to request more information from respondents before the approvers decide whether to approve or reject the documents.
When a respondent makes a form submission, the approvers receive an email with the Approve / Reject button.
When an approver clicks the Approve / Reject button, a new tab opens in the browser allowing the approver to add a comment to request more information and confirm by clicking the button Request Info.
