If you want approved documents to include the name of the approver or the approval status, you can add the <<Workflow approver>> and <<Workflow status>> markers in your Google template.
- In Form Publisher, open the Templates and markers screen and click Edit to edit your template.
- In the template, add the markers for the name of the approver (<<Workflow approver>>) and the approval status (<<Workflow status>>) in a location in the document you find most appropriate. You can use just one or both markers.
The next time an approver processes a request, the approver name and the approval status are added to the document.
