After adding your questions in your Google Form, you noticed that Form Publisher detects duplicated question titles. This article explains how to solve this issue.
Why do you get duplicated question title issue?
If Form Publisher detects duplicated question titles in your Google Form, the following message is displayed.
Usually, the duplicated question title message appears when you start configuring Form Publisher after adding your questions.
Let’s see an example with a recurring use case:
You have added two identical questions in your Google Form. Then, you have clicked Google Spreadsheet to select a pre-formatted template.
Finally, Form Publisher detects your duplicated question title.
How to solve this small configuration issue?
To solve this issue, click Continue.
If you can’t find your duplicated question title, click Matching markers.
Each duplicated question title is marked with a red duplicate icon.
Once you know which question is duplicated, you can either delete it or rename one of the two questions.
In our use case, we decided to rename the question title from Email address to Email.
Finally, from your sidebar click Edit to update your template.
Once you are on your Google Sheets template, update your question title marker from Email address to Email.
Go back to your Google Form. From your sidebar, click Refresh.
